Why We Give
At Embers Church, we believe that everything we have—our time, talents, and resources—belongs to God. Giving is an act of worship and a joyful response to the incredible grace He has first given us.
When you give, you aren't just paying bills or funding a budget; you are actively partnering with God to transform lives, support our local community, and spread the Gospel both here and around the world.
What is Tithing?
The word tithe literally means a "tenth" (10%). Throughout Scripture, God's people practiced giving the first 10% of their income back to Him as an acknowledgment that He is the provider of all things.
As 2 Corinthians 9:7 reminds us, God is not interested in forced compliance or guilt. He looks at the heart. Giving is a journey of faith, and whether you are taking your first steps in generosity or practicing regular tithing, we want you to give with a spirit of freedom and joy.
Financially
All financial donations need to be made through Bow Valley Baptist Church. Donations must include the memo "For Embers Church."
